Okay, so I've been trying to figure out how to do an end of the year thing without focusing. . . mentioning? . . . even bringing up the garbage fire that's been the majority of 2017 (I'm clearly doing a phenomenal job so far). But, despite the constant stream of 'bar-lowering decisions' people seem to keep making, it's been an okay year in other respects.
I didn't get 24 books read, only 18. Though, there's a decent chance I'll finish up Ruth Ware's The Lying Game, by the end of December. Really good so far. Maybe next year I'll finally hit the magic - read: totally random - number. Who knows, maybe I'll finish another one of my own books. If only hiking trails didn't beckon and video games didn't turn on seemingly on their own.
Anyway, this was going to be brief because we all have our own internal year-end wrapping to deal with, and I didn't want to take too much of your time. Thanks for reading, if I've talked to you on social media, thanks for getting in touch, and if you've read Jack Be Quick thank you, thank you! I hope everyone has a great New Years and 2018 is, um, well, let's just keep an open mind at this point I guess.
Cheers everyone, be safe and stay happy!
