The ironic part about that caption is that it's not creative at all, it's heavily burrowed (which, you know, is the equivalency of stolen) from Fight Club. But, seeing as Fight Club is my favorite movie of all time (before you start preaching yeah, yeah I read the book don't worry) so I'll chalk it up to a wash.
Anyways. . . Short, sweet, and to the point because busy, busy, busy. Life happens and when it happens, damn does it happen fast. I have ~30 pages left in The Traitor Baru Cormorant and if I don't get a second to finish it soon I'm going to lose my damn mind!
In anticipation news: UNCHARTED 4 DROPS IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!!!! So think of the treasure you want to find and let's ride this out until the end.
I've updated the publications page with the string of short stories and flash fiction that were picked up early this year. If you're in the mood for some speculative flash fiction and want to know why it's not a great idea to go around catching thunderstorms, check-out Jars over at freeze frame fiction. If something dark and much more twisted is your style, discover a historical fiction piece about the one and only Jack the Ripper, The Women in Red over at Deadman's Tome. Warning: slightly graphic.
Side note regarding Jars: it comes with artwork by Luke Spooner. Absolutely fantastic. Check out the gallery over at http://carrionhouse.com it's insanely legit.
Till next time everyone . . . Cheers ; )
